My name is Brittany Beaird.  I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 2010.  I was raised in St. James Catholic Church, and it is where my family currently attends.  I have been teaching 1st grade at St. James School since 2013.  Something fun about me is that I am a huge animal person and have pets ranging from miniature horses to pot bellied pigs. (You never know what kind of critter you might find in my classroom!)Teaching is my calling, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach your children!  To the best of my ability I will encourage my class to fulfill their goals and create an enriched learning environment.  In 2021, I was honored as the Etowah County Private Schools Teacher of the Year.
