Hello! I'm Mrs. Porter, your friendly 5th-grade teacher and lover of all things English. In addition to teaching, I also stay active in school sports. I help out with the track team and coach basketball. Sports teach us valuable lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and leadership; I enjoy instilling those values in students through athletics. Beyond the classroom, you might catch me spending most of my time with the youth ministry at my church or on the sidelines coaching. At home, I'm a devoted wife to my husband and a proud mother to our son. Overall, I'm truly blessed to be at St. James. I love the opportunities to make a difference in young lives, and the wonderful families surrounding them.
