School uniforms are required at St. James for grades K-4 through 8th. Uniforms may be purchased through the Dennis Uniform Company by visiting their location in Birmingham, attending our student orientation days, or purchasing online. The following may be purchased from Dennis Uniform Company or the school office (depending on availability):
BOYS: Khaki Pants, Sweaters, Khaki Shorts, School Sweat Shirt or Fleece Jacket, Blue or White Polo, Mass Tie
GIRLS: Khaki Pants, Khaki Shorts, School Sweat Shirt or Fleece Jacket, Sweaters, Blue or White Polo, Jumper with White Blouse (K4-4th), Skirts (5th-8th), Skorts, Mass Criss-Cross Tie with Button
School uniform shorts may be worn by all children only during the months of August, September, April, and May, unless otherwise directed by the administration.
Students may wear black or brown close-toed shoes or tennis shoes with white or navy socks. Girls are permitted to wear full-length black or navy leggings or stockings during the winter time.
